Residents and visitors to Tobermory have defeated Argyll
and Bute's attempt to charge for parking in the town. You can still enjoy the
atmosphere of slight anarchy that typifies the Western Isles.
No charges, no restrictions, no crime!

It is rumoured that the team that
have been diving for several years in an expensive attempt to locate Tobermory's
Spanish treasure ship are close to success.
Otter performs in Tobermory Bay
Tobermory's stage struck otter can be seen regularly
from the hotel's windows. Over the last year it has
become more and more confident feeding only yards
away from its human audience. Occasionally joined by
a partner with whom it plays.
Sadly 'Elvis' has been found dead this Spring.
